Greg Xander
Campus Missionary
Hi guys, my name is Greg Xander and I am the Campus Missionary for the Bsu here at Truman. I have two kids and one wife.
I’ve been married for 22 years to my beautiful wife, Stacey, or as I would call her “fragile flower." Our 2 kids are strong-willed, and a lot of crazy fun to be with. But we are a “real family” so yeah, love covers over a multitude of sins, is so true in our home - because I am there! But we love each other…and are just trying to make it through life together!
I hope I will get the chance to meet you, because I know you are a work of art - you were made with intention!
Bringing humanity back to the God who loves them without condition…that’s my hope and passion!
John Choi
Worship Coordinator
Hi, my name is John but people call me Johnny! I am the worship coordinator at the BSU. I have a huge passion for worship music and interacting with people. Being part of a community that I can call "home" has enabled me to spread the love of the community and God to others as well. I am an international Exercise Science student and a huge fan of sports. Looking forward to meeting new people and interacting with them this fall!
Matt Boyce
Men's Leader
Hi, my name is Matt and this is my wife Whitney. I am a Senior at TSU studying accounting and my wife is a senior studying Psychology. We both attend and are involved at Rehoboth Baptist. I am so excited to be your men's group leader for this year. My goal this year for the BSU is to walk in righteousness and live out our faith. I have some fun activities planned for this semester such as shooting, camping, and Saturday night Bible study.
Chris Vitale
Worship Leader
Hello! My name is Chris and I'm going into my junior year at Truman University! I'm majoring in History and planning to be a high school history teacher. I am also the leader of the Worship team here at the BSU! I love music, and what better way to give praise to God than through song. I make it my mission to live with Jesus in my heart every day and to spread his word. I feel the best way to do this is through making new friends and experiences, by stepping out of my comfort zone, and talking to people I wouldn't normally talk to. I heard a quote from Greg Xander at the BSU: "The gospel spreads best through relationships!" That really motivated me to live my life by spreading the gospel through relationships!!!

I am a Junior at TSU studying Biochemistry. I intend to become a doctor and serve my community's health and wellbeing. It is my passion to see others thrive both spiritually and physically.
I attend Grace Community Bible Church and love serving the BSU! I come from the Kansas City area and was homeschooled K-12 by my parents.

I am a junior exercise science major. I like talking long walks, playing guitar, and trying new foods!
Mykaela Halleman

I am a senior Exercise Science Major with Athletic Training Concentration. I substitute teach and provide extended care for Faith Lutheran School. I attend Hamilton Street Baptist Church and have been part of the BSU for 2 years. My hobbies include paint by number, playing the piano, and working out! My favorite BSU events are Spring Break and Art on the Quad.
Cozette LeRoy
Outreach Leader
Cozette is a senior History Major and she studied abroad in Germany. She loves to help the BSU and plays the piano in the worship band. She is sure to brighten your day.
